JAMB 2025 Registration Form
Once a candidate has successfully gotten a JAMB profile code He/She can proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited CBT centre to complete the registration process. Upon arrival at the CBT centre, the candidate would be given the JAMB registration form template to complete.
Within the JAMB UTME registration form, candidates would be required to fill out their Bio Data, choice of institutions, UTME subject combinations as well as their O’level results. Although not indicated on the form, candidates would need to submit a functional email address (preferably Gmail). It is advisable to create an email address if you don’t have one before visiting the CBT registration centre. It’s also important to make sure you have access to your Gmail account because it’s the only way you can use in accessing your JAMB CAPS later on.
Filling in your Choice of institutions
JAMB has some basic rules for selection of institutions. It’s been observed that quite a number of students are not aware of this before visiting the CBT centre, and as a result had to make last minute changes to their choice of institutions. Here are some basic rules set by JAMB regarding choice of institutions. Of the four (4) available slots for choice of institutions
- Candidates can only chose a maximum of two universities along with one of either a polytechnic or a college of education and then compulsorily, one IEI
- Candidates are not allowed to pick more than one federal university.
- Choice 1 to 3 can be either a university, a polytechnic, a college of education or an IEI however Choice 4 must be an IEI.
This goes to say that if your first choice is a federal university like UNILAG, you cannot pick another federal university as your second or third choice however you can choose a state or private university. It also goes to say that you can only choose a max of two universities so you must choose at least one polytechnic or college of education as well.
