Congratulations to all incoming freshmen who has been admitted into the Rivers State University (RSU)! After accepting your admission on your JAMB CAPS you need to quickly begin your clearance. When the clearance procedure is complete your would then be assigned a Matriculation Number (MAT NO) making you officially a student of RSU. This article provides you with a breakdown to enable you understand the fees and financial cost of the clearance process.
The clearance process is divided into two (2) stages
- Admission Clearance (same for all students)
- Faculty Clearance (fees differ based on faculty, department and indigenous status)
Admission Clearance Fee Breakdown
- Admission Status: ₦2,500
- Acceptance Fee: ₦50,000
- Account Creation: ₦2,000
- ICT Registration: ₦2,500
- Portal Access: ₦8,000
- Printing Of Admission Forms: ₦3,000
- Scanning/Uploading of Documents: ₦2,000
- E-Affidavits (Good Conduct & Anti-Cultism): ₦5,500
- Medical Test: ₦15,000
- Certificate Verification: ₦25,000
NB: An online payment gateway charge of close to four hundred naira is attached to each payment (not included in the above breakdown). The ICT Registration fee and the E-Affidavits are to be paid in cash at the ICT Centre.
