The Rivers State University (RSU) Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) has announced that all 200-level students across the university are required to attend an Entrepreneurship Orientation Program scheduled to hold on 18th November 2025.
The notice, issued through an internal memorandum from the Office of the Director of the EDC, states that the orientation is part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENT 211) program, which is a compulsory component of the university’s academic curriculum.
According to the memo addressed to the Dean of Students Affairs, the event will take place as follows:

The memo emphasizes that attendance is mandatory for all 200-level students from all faculties. The session is expected to introduce students to entrepreneurial thinking, innovation strategies, and the objectives of the ENT 211 course as part of RSU’s commitment to equipping undergraduates with practical skills for self-reliance.
The communication was signed by the Director of the EDC, Prof. J. Eke-Ejiofor, and copied to key university officials including the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Director of Quality Assurance, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, and the SUG President.
Students are encouraged to arrive early and participate fully in the orientation as it forms an essential part of their academic requirements for the session.
